Youtube Embedding! - Snowboarding Forum

ok so idk about you guys but i really hate clicking all these links for youtube and stuff (ya im super lazy) so im not sure if you guys knew this already or not but whatever i figured id put it out there

THeres a couple of ways to do it (embed codes, etc.) but the easiest one is this:
[youtube ]put the code that comes after /watch?v= here [/youtube]

tell everyone so our lazy asses dont gotta click links no more!!

Any chance that we could get a HOW TO EMBED thread sticked? I am sick of looking at links.

Also are we capable of having a "Youtube" button added above the reply box? Some of the other forums have this button that will give you the youtube tag just by pressing the button which I find much more convenient

LMFAO^ I'm glad someone made this thread, I was guilty for posting a video yesterday without embedding.

I think you need to have "Enhanced Interface- Full WYSIWYG Editing" selected under the miscellaneous options section of your options page in the control panel. I had no idea about the Youtube, Vimeo, Google, buttons etc... until i turned this feature on a few months ago.

First, thanks snowolf for adding those buttons!
But second, I DID start this thread over a year ago...
I'm not sure if the buttons were there before Smokehaus' post but they certainly weren't there when i made the OP.
I was only trying to benefit the SBF community.
