I actually liked it because of it. The retro thing could be attributed to the sites "locals" feel (i myself not exactly being one)

However, it lacks an actual snownboarder in it.
I also used Panhandlers sideways ".com," it definitely helps connect both designs I've seen that use it.
This is sick man. How about trying to put a snowboarder in the qr code?

Thanks, I'll try that and post it later.

Or perhaps riding down the slanted part of the "R" in "Forum"? Idk...a snowboarder in the QR code might get lost or busy?

Also, JeffreyCH: I think a rider graphic carving a nice white line down the black peak of your design with the triangle peak would add something interesting visually to that area and it's a way to include a snowboarder into the design.

I like the idea of using a graphic from a member photo, like how herzogone used that one of Cro. It makes it a little more unique while having a personal (for lack of a better word) touch to it.

I've followed this thread since it started and I enjoy seeing all the creative ideas from everyone!

Then the code doesn't work, it would look really cool tho.

yeah, snowboarding in itself is an art form, it attracts many left-brained people.

I like the QR code in the design, esp because it reminds me of snow (see why below..). Just not sure how it would work with a snowboarder graphic in the code. But, hey, give it a go and see; I could be wrong!

I think you mean right-brained? I'm very heavily right-brain dominant, and artistic but right-handed (it's said that many right-brained people, such as artists, are left-handed). Anyway, I used to confuse the two so the way I remember which is which is by the left-hand to opposite side brain (like artists).

Regardless, I really like what you said about snowboarding being an art form and being attractive as such.

I would contribute a design for this thread but I don't have software to make it happen, nor much experience with graphic design programs.

Well whoever is getting them made has the ultimate say on what design i would think. Im not voting for one because i would have a clear bias for the designs i created hahaha
