Unless I just haven't figured it out yet (only been looking at it for a few minutes), it doesn't look like there is an easy way to view each forum section. I just see the recent posts and no index for the different sections.

Maybe I'm missing it, but that definitely needs to be added.

Has potential once the bugs are worked out though.

Ahhh I see....

Can you do this. Make an additional link on the header that says "homepage" before the "snowboardingforum-snowboard enthusiast forum" link. That way you have an option to go to either....
Yep, this is what it needs. A link back to the forum list on all pages so you don't have to go to the home page and then to the forum list everytime you switch from thread to thread or forum section to forum section.

That would be okay, though I think it should just link to the homepage.

If you look at the forum line above is where I have an issue.

Snowboarding Forum - Snowboard Enthusiast Forums >snowboarding forum message board>news, updates etc,

If you click on Snowboarding Forum - Snowboard Enthusiast Forums, it takes you to the homepage. I'd prefer it to take you to the forum list instead. I think most everyone wants to go to the forum list by hitting that link. Instead it's become a two part process.

I don't like clicking the header and having it lead to the homepage. I have been using it to refresh or redirect me to the forums' top page. Now I keep forgetting that it leads to my homepage and that I have to click the link for "forums" after the fact.

Also, in the homepage, while I like the recent threads I've participated in, I don't like that it takes you to the first page of said thread after clicking it. Should take you to the last page of the threads.

Snowboarding Forum - Snowboard Enthusiast Forums > Snowboarding Forum Message Board > News, Updates and Suggestions

The one in bold is the one that takes you back to the list of forums. I can get the header changed to go to the main forum list page no matter where you click that from.
It doesn't. That's the problem. It takes you to the snowboarding forum message board forum, which only contains New, Updates, and suggestions and Meets and Events. We are missing the snowboarding equipment, snowboarding travel, Regional forums, snowboarding lifestyle, snowboarding lounge, and off topic sections.

AS MPD has noted the other sections only bring you back to their related forums, not the whole list.

There are loads of plugins that can be added. Some work really well and other clutter it. basketballforum.com has done a nice job setting up theirs. I have also put a request in for now to have the top banner go to http://www.snowboardingforum.com/forum.php no matter what page you are on.

I would think we would be able to just change the link at the start of the forum titles, chain, whatever it is called. I've surfed through the other forums with the homepage. When you click the respective link in bold Snowboarding Forum - Snowboard Enthusiast Forums > Snowboarding Forum Message Board > News, Updates and Suggestions > new homepage, it takes you back to their respective forum list. Such as the basketball forums.

Ohhh I see what you mean..If you click the grey banner with the snowboarder it goes back to the main index....

Thats an improvement for sure but how would anyone know that. Like were saying maybe they can put a link in the gray index box...
It's been requested that the start of the forum line bring us back to the forum index. Evidently it's just not going to happen as quickly as the other fix. We do have tweaking to do, give it time.

I personally like having the message board (dashboard?) link on the banner over the forum index. It's sort of how facebook takes you to your feed when you click "Facebook" on the left corner of the page (sidenote, would it be possible to put some "post to facebook/twitter/google plus" widgets on each thread if someone wants to share them?).

If we could have a preview showing the most viewed forum sections (top news, political, boards, locations personally) on the dashboard that might be even better putting everything in one place for everyone, maybe even just moving the forum index to the dashboard for when you're logged in. The dashboard will most likely be the page most people bookmark or set as a homepage, so the more information there the better but of coarse, it shouldn't be overcrowded.
