Where did the new Neversummer review threads go?

Have they all been taken down?

It was killed. You can thank BA for making it his personal vendetta to ensure he's the only person who's allowed to review boards and have an opinion on this site. We're all still working with NS, we just won't be using this platform.

I don't understand, can you explain in more detail? Sure, there was 2 or 3 people who were not onboard but that's to be expected. The vast majority of the board I would think looked at this as a great way to get more info on NS decks. Who made the decision to pull it down? And if you are still working with them, where can we find the reviews etc.?

I want BA's opinion like I want a sore on my dick.

I'd love to go into it. Maybe BA would like to explain it himself. If I could leak what he wrote to the admins I'd do it in a heartbeat. NS is gone, all the negative comments from the forum gave them the vibe that they weren't welcomed here. Snowolf resigned from SBF as you could probably tell from his status change in all the threads. He's taken some pretty unfair criticism. The only people that lose here is the forum.

Read hurr please.

Extremo, you are just asking for this to become a world class flame thread. I'd rather not have to deal with it.

Here is how the reviews are going to be handled for now.

This is partially my fault. I have not been hands on with the forum since almost a week ago. Things went down and we just did not handle it well. Everyone makes mistakes, and I am not immune from doing it myself. I am hoping that starting now we can just move forward and get back to what this forum is all about. Which is snowboarding in case people have forgot.

Are you saying snowolf is not going to be posting on the forum or just that he has resigned his admin duties etc.? I think this whole thing got blown way out of proportion. I believe the vast majority of the board would welcome the dedicated brand review sections. The majority should rule...

No, this isn't your fault at all. There's no reason to protect those who are actually at fault.

This program with NS could have been a model for other brands to come in here and do the same thing. It could have gotten more people hyped on new product, offered more informed avenues for customers, and provided feedback to companies to make their product better. We've already seen that here with Neversummer, Union, Rome, etc. This is already successful in other industries like Mountian biking with MTBR. This forum is a resource and a program like this would have only helped maximize it's potential. Those who are actually responsible for it's demise deserve to be flamed.
