Title says most of it...
I've had two ACL reconstructions, and tore up a bunch of cartlige meniscus etc. about 6 years ago. Had surgery, been riding with a brace ever since. Got a new Dr that gave me the green light to ride with out the brace, but I've never really trusted Doctors due to some bad past experiences. I only use a knee brace for snowboarding. To wear or not to wear. I sure as hell can't afford to blow my knee again, but having the freedom to catch grabs again sounds awesome. I've also considered a new knee brace, which was why I was at the doctors office. My old townsend brace doesn't let me catch grabs like I used to. So I was looking for a new brace with a better range of motion for grabs. Anythoughts? |

id say ride a couple of times and see how it feels. if its really alot better without it then go ahead, but if it were me id still use it... id rather be unable to do grabs than not be able to ride at all
