freaking typical... Was out in Andorra for 3 months, training to get my CASI level 1 & 2 qualifications. Got my level 1, nice and easy but then it's level 2 time! Course should have started last monday but on the saturday, i was doing my last run down, few little rollers and was just jibbing down the mountain, typical day on a run i love and have done a million times. Went over a lip, did a simple frontside 1 tail tap, landed it then caught an edge, went down hard... will upload a picture of the blood bruise i got, pretty epic.
anyways, enough of that... end result is, i had to come back to the UK, miss my level 2 exam despite being told i would pass it if i was sitting it. My AC joint in my shoulder is ripped and i've gotta have 3 months of physio til it's close to being better! oh well, gives me a perfect excuse to go back out to Andorra for all of next season... right? ;D Last edited by Starsky; 04-13-2011 at 04:03 PM. |

Dude - i B-LASTED that same joint at the end of this season (at least what was the end for me). I actually heard a tear after I slammed. Went to the sports doctor last Friday and found out it was partial separation. Whenever I rotate my arm far behind my head the tendons get pinched and cause some nasty pain.
