Default Burton Ruler '09 vs Burton Ion '09 Boots

So I'm getting a new pair and ended up narrowing it down to these 2 pairs.

I am intermediate level that doesn't do any park yet, so I'm pretty much mostly freeride.

Which pair of boots would you recommend and why (pros/cons etc)?

cheers

Well rulers are really comfortable. Ruler is stiffer then ion so I guess ruler would be a better boot for freeriding.
