One word description: soft

My first park board, last boards were Rome Anthem and a Jibpan, which I only rode once or twice, it wasn't as soft as I would've liked. This board is softer than the Jibpan. Ollies are pretty good for a soft board. Butters and presses are so easy to do, I just need practice balancing. TBT didnt really take much time to get used to, really didnt notice it. It holds an edge well (keep in mind I said well not great), when carving blacks and blues, although there is the occasional chatter if you're going to fast or when you're speed checking/stopping. Catching edges are harder, but I still can when i'm not paying attention/screwing around. Weight-wise, out of the box i didnt notice any heft compared to the Jibpan, feels a bit lighter i believe. Haven't hit any boxes/rails yet with this board. Although this review isn't as comprehensive as more experienced riders, I hope this helps someone with their purchase. :D

Did you expect it not to chatter? It's one of bataleons softest boards, it shouldn't even be taken on blacks.

you thought it wasnt soft enough????the only challenger for a softer board is the park rocker and that thing is the biggest load of shit ever..

he said the jibpan wasnt soft enough... and im pretty sure the jibpan is on the stiffer side for its style board. may be wrong :dunno:

Yea, the Jibpan really felt like a all mtn. freestyle board instead of a park/jib board.
Like I said earlier, this is my FIRST park board, and needed to experience chatter.
But yea, the way I ride, its not that bad, nothing sucking it up like a man won't do...
