I'm pretty much all set this year, I got some good equipment from last year. But I'm always interested to hear about the latest and greatest. The new C2 Power Banana tech, how the Nitro Sub Pop compares and thoughts on it this year in particular, Burton's different rocker types, this years opinion on the Contraband line of bindings by Ride, more tested opinions about how Bataleon's boards compare to all the different rocker types, etc.
I guess that's asking a lot, but when I google reviews all I get are user reviews on retail sites. It sucks. Not that user reviews aren't great. I take most of the opinion on this forum pretty seriously, based on credibility of course, but 2 sentence reviews on retail sites are ridiculous and usually biased. "OMG I TRIED IT OUT IN MY LIVING ROOM AND IT'S GREAT. FAST SHIPPING AAA++++ WOUDL BUY AGAIN!" or "IT BROKE IT'S TERRIBLE." Meanwhile they forgot to mention they hit whatever it was with a hammer and set it on fire. hehe.
I'm being hyperbolic, but that's gives you a feel of how seriously I take those reviews. Plus they're often filtered by the site admin. The other kind of "reviews" I see are sites that copy and paste product descriptions and throw in a couple extra sentences to make it seem legit. They're more like previews.
The angry snowboarder has some good reviews. I checked Hoon's site too, but to be honest it's a fucking mess, and it doesn't look like it's been updated since may '09
I hate that default blogger format.
