Hi everyone,
Ive snowboarded 5-10 times but i was goo dat skating efore so picked it up really fast. I use to have a k2 but its waaay to small(Im 6'0" 185lbs). So I gave my old bord to my gf and am now planning on buying a new one. I found these two deals online, and I know m3 isnt the best recognized brand anymore but I think its good enough for me and the price range I want to spend. I did my research and learned that the Discord is a good board to start from. On the other hand I cant find NOT ONE THING on the MR1. On the Discord I would get a 158 and on the MR1 it would be a 156 ( I prefer a smaller board). My ride style is both going down the hill/moguls/carving and sometimes doing jumps.

EDIT: And I know the boot has to fit really good, so I'm going to the store to try out what size boots I need in that brand/boot.
Also as I said I skateboarded very well, so I know that snowboards just like skateboards are probably extremely up to your own likes and dislikes. But I also know that for someone starting out as long as the board isnt too extreme in one way or another then its good enough. Thats what Im looking for, I only go a maxiumum of a couple times per year

Anyone? Wouldnt usually try to bump my own thread, but I'm looking to buy today. I'm also up for suggestions on an alternative for a setup that can be bought for under 300.....
