For the freeride shredder chick - these bindings are killer! After having shitty Morrows last season, riding Missions for most of this season, I demoed a few different women specific bindings (Lexa, Luna) and finally settled on the Escapade. These bindings are phenomenal! They are very lightweight and wicked responsive, it only takes minimal flexion to engage. They are very comfortable, and the cushion pad keeps snow/ice out of the base plate so all I have to do is just dust it off. Ratchets are super smooth easy in and out. Also, the way the toecap is made, it really fits properly, nice and snug around the toe, and both straps have some extra cushioning for comfort.
Only caveat: They run on the smaller and narrow side. Burton suggests Medium for size 8 and up, I wear a 7.5 Vans boot and purchased a large and they fit perfect. I imagine their sizing is for Burton boots, but the Vans are a bit fatter. Highlights Stiff flex Lightweight Responsive Aggressive Comfortable Bitchin I should add I am an intermediate-advanced rider, freeride and pow is my gig, no park for me.
