Sepia Pants?

Ok, so my mom was browsing through this place called the burlington coat factory (its basically a huge tj maxx or marshalls) and knew I needed some pants so browsed through the skiing/snowboarding section, and found some pants that she thought I might like, called me up, told me about them, and told me the name and everything. At the time, I was skeptical and figured she would come back with some ski bibs, but I needed pants and would take whatever I could get, because the ones that I had before were cheap ones that would let water in after about 2 falls.

Well she got back and handed me the pants and I was very surprised. The first thing that I noticed right away is that these were no skiing pants and where defiantly designed for snowboarding. They were very baggy and after trying them on just felt wonderful. I looked at the tag and it said they went for $150 orginally but were marked down to $60. I also noticed that they were defiantly waterproof with a 15k mm rating and pretty breathable with a 10k gm rating) They also looked pretty good too. An off color white, almost ivory or gray, with small stripes running vertically down in different colors. Anyways, I looked them up and figured out that they were defiantly a snowboarding company and even had a small team put together. I researched even deeper and found out to my supprise that they were a sub company, or even a clothing line of 686. The pants that I got were called "embargo" and suprisingly enough, even though the tag said said orginally $150, I couldn't find them cheaper than $200 anywhere. lol, so I guess the lesson here is check your local bargain/overstock stores.

Anyway, haven't gotten to use them on the slope yet, but they seem like they will work wonderful. Wanted to ask if anyone else had any previous experience with these pants, or even Sepia.

dude the same thing happened to me... I was in TJ Maxx and they happened to have a pair of Sepia pants in an eggplant color...not too fond of it but it has grown on me since and I got them for like $50 20k/15k ratings and now I have used them for about 10 days and they're freaking awesome! Best pants I own and I have Burton, Bonfire, 4Square, Volcom and Sessions stuff and I haven't worn any of it unless the Sepia's are dirty or still wet! You'll love them and they are a spin off of 686 quality is impeccable
