I am 190cm/6 feet 3 inches tall and 90kg. Feet 30cm 12US, 11uk
I have been looking around at some of the boards in Tokyo, i found the following Burton Triumph 169cm long width 25.5- so Mid-wide about 350 dollars US or44000 yen. A gyrator 168cm long and about 25.8cm wide 53,600 yen 490 dollars Another one was 26.6cm and 164cm long, the edge was 129.6cm whatever that means for 48000 yen about 430 dollars. I am just above a beginner, so what you recommend, one of these or go on e-bay, or buy from abroad? Please advise. ALso any advice on the shape of a board i should get? well if i did the conversion right your about 200 pounds. at that weight and your ability you dont want to go above 158 in board length. the gyrator is really just a powder board, so if all you're hitting is 3 or more feet deep, then not a bad option but do the 162. but really, either of those would be overkill, at just above a beginner, you don't really need a top of the line board. i'd recommend the k2 wide podium 158, rome machine 157, santa cruz largo 156, salomon tempest 158. as far as board shape, depends on your desired riding style: pure park-true twin, all mountain freestyle-directional twin, freeride-directional.
