I ordered a Yowie and Arctic Yowie about 2 weeks ago after hearing about them on this forum. They arrived all the way to Canada in 9 business days.

First impression, they're thin. Thinner than I expected, which isn't a bad thing. The patterns are really dope. They look great in person. The ends of the yowies aren't hemed/sewed. It looks like the fabric is just cut and that's it.

The unfortunate part is they don't work nearly as well as I hoped they would. I've worn both the yowie and arctic yowie all week and both got really wet within 5 minutes of wearing them. I'm not sure if I have defective yowies or what, but as far as not freezing and not getting wet from your breath, they didn't work. And it's not like I'm breathing out of my mouth trying to make these wet, just regular breathing through my nose and they still get really wet. The temperatures I've worn them in range from -15 to -7 degrees Celsius.


So in short..they look sick. They fit well.Had no problem at all breathing through it,
they just get wet from your breath really fast.

Just got mine in the mail as well. They are thinner than I expected. Seem like they'll be a nice fit regardless. Won't get a chance to test mine for a few weeks, but I hope they don't get wet as quick as you describe.

It honestly might be just me. I just came in from watering my ice rink and wore the arctic yowie. 15 minutes to water the rink and the yowie is soaked. Again, could totally be my super wet breath and not the product.

Post in here once you've used yours and give your own review. I'm really interested to know if it's just me.

Will do. I got one for my wife as well. Our first chance to test it will be 3 straight days on the slopes. I'm sure we'll each have a firm opinion one way or the other after the vacation.
