I just purchased my first board in december with burton custom bindings. I noticed lately that one of the straps near the screw is starting to rip and tear around the screw and in another place. Is this normal or should I try to get it replaced. Any input would be appreciated for this thanks guys and gals

I'd go back to the shop you purchased it from or contact Burton directly and get them to replace it while it's still under warranty. If its your first board I'm going to assume that you're not really hard on the equipment.
