Wide Boots

A while back I purchased a pair of Salomon Synapse boots at the advice of my local ski shop. I've got wide feet, but these boots feel much wider than I expected. After using them 6-7 times, I'm thinking that they're too wide for me. I find myself moving around in the boot too much, and sliding within them. Sure, I could make them tighter....but then the circulation tends to get cut off in my feet and I get numb feet.

Are there any boots on the market that are a bit on the wider side? I just want to see what kind of brands/models have been used by other people and test some of them myself. Wearing thicker socks doesn't work, and wearing two pairs of socks has been leading to some other problems, too.

Thanks...

Burton, 32, Nitro, and Vans also make wide cut boots.

I'm looking at the Burton Rulers; how much do they tend to pack in after a few days?
