I have a new '08 Supermodel X that Burton kindly provided at the end of last season as a replacement for a broken Custom X. I also picked up an '08 Option Franchise at last year's end of season sales. I live in the Alps and ride every day so I bought the Franchise as a second board to play with on non-powder days. I haven't ridden either board yet so I was wondering if anyone has ridden either/both of these boards? If so, how do they compare/differ. I'm finding it hard to find reviews on the Franchise, could anyone please shed some light? Thanks!

Hey willj
No, haven't had a chance yet. The resort I live in doesn't open till the 18th opened yet. We hiked up last week but I took an old board as the cover was a bit sketchy down low. We had over 40cm of fresh last week so we're planning a day trip to Val Thorens this coming week. Will probably take the Franchise for a blast and will give you a report soon after. |
