Default Disapointment...

Its really quite awesome when you have your whole backyard park set up and the forecast says 8 inches of snow in the next 3 days...

Winter storm news is exciting, 18 inches in certain areas...

And instead it only just gets down to -3 and you get 3/4 inch of snow in 3 days. The roads freeze over but nothing good comes of it...

no kidding.

november forecast for mammoth went from 60" to 30" to 25" to 15" back to 25" down to 10.5" actual.

That is sad

I don't even know why I bother looking at the forecast when it is wrong 99% of the time

our forcasting is so bad i pretty much count on the opposite, esp if it is like 5 days out. best policy is to check the morning report of what is actually already fallen, the rest is...hype

Same down in Helena... The ski hill here (Great Divide) never gets much anyway, i just want enough to board on here at my backyard park. I don't like waiting the 4 days monday - thursday to snowboard again.

You need an at home snow making machine
