Default What Do You Have Backups Of?

Hey All,

I'm just curious if there is anything in particular you bring backups of or extras to the mountain on a typical day or just have just incase something breaks or if you want to change it up? Boards, Bindings, goggles etc.

Me Personally- All I bring are backup gloves and goggles now After breaking both my lenses today, and considering a back-up board

Searched and couldn't find a thread like this, if there is mods please close/ delete!

I bring enough extra gear to fully kit up a buddy if they decide to pop out.

On powder days, I always bring both my Charlie Slasher and my NS Cobra. Ride the CS until the pow gets tracked out then swap out to the Cobra for the afternoon.

After forgetting every piece of gear necessary (besides boots and a board) at some point or another, I decided to just pack a duffel with backups of everything. I always toss the duffel in the trunk and then have a smaller one with the day's decided upon gear. Helps out when the weather shifts, and if a buddy forgot something, as well.

Ladders, gloves and lenses. But honestly for me the most important thing I plan is extra money. Because I'm a fool and I always do some sort of retarded shit. It's almost a given. A pocket of side cash I hope to never spends always saves the day.

I laughed when I read that! I got half way to my local one time when I reached over to the passenger seat for something, and realized that the board I usually have strapped in there for the drive,... Wasn't!!!

Between the ADD & old age, I've managed to forget one of just about everything on my way to the hill! A friend of mine & fellow SBF member gave me a little pre departure routine tip that helps! Before I get in the car to leave, I stand there and physically tap myself on every part of the body I need gear for! From head to toe! If I hit something that needs gear I forgot to pack, it usually registers!

...frustrating as hell how often I have to go back inside to get something, but better than not remembering until I get to the hill!
