So i noticed today on hardpack conditions i had troubles digging in on my heel side. Had a look and this is what they looked like. Is my board fubared now?

You serious? Just hit it real quick with an edge sharpener and you're good to go. I bet the edges of my board look worse than that right now.

jml22 12-10-2013 11:33 PM

It's pretty deep to make a legit edge i'd have to file it down like all the way

linvillegorge 12-10-2013 11:45 PM

You don't need to file it down, just hit it with an edge tool. It's what, 3" long at most? It's not gonna impact the ride. They're snowboards, shit happens. They're not gonna stay pristine forever if you're out there riding them.

A hand sharpen isn't gonna do shit. Take it to a shop. It will never look perfect but at least it'll be done right. And let them know you iust want a standard edge grind. Dont try and "fix" it.
