Default My VERY 1st powder day !!!!

I know many of you will not understand or even relate to this. Here in the Midwest we don't have these. The last 4 years have been terrible snow. Lots of warm and rain, hell the resort didn't even open till week of Christmas last year.

We are getting what you all call a dump, 6-9 inches of real powder !!!! Not wet heavy snow, not cold blowing snow, not rain mixed with snow, real powder.

I will post some pics of me at the resort, riding our small hills covered in the best powder we've had in years

Congrats man. Well now you're going to be hooked on it. Every day riding from now on, you will inevitably end up comparing to this one until a better pow day comes along.

^This x10K^

I've gotten to experience Two such occurrences up in northern lower MI. One long 3-4 day weekend end of last season, F'ing Awesomest weekend EVER!! ...and once again two weekends ago on the last day of my long weekend!

You will have a blast! Enjoy!

I am actually trying to put a 12-24 month strategy in place to move/transfer somewhere where I can get that kind of riding on a regular basis!

Slyder,

I'm to the south of you on the north side of Indianapolis and we received a ton of rain yesterday...still warmer temps and grey skies today. The local hill...Perfect North is closed for the weekend.

Enjoy yourself!

Just like showing up to your local break and seeing double overhead with an offshore wind glassy conditions and not another soul in sight. Those are the days dreams are made of.

Hopefully I score something reminiscent of this when I travel to Costa Rica next month...

Enjoy dude, there's nothing better than the fluffy stuff! We've had 11" here in Jackson Hole over the last 48 hrs with plenty more on the way. About to head out to the hill right now, can't wait.

the very reason I lived across the road from the beach for the last 2 and a half in aus before moving to norway. some days were just magical, it could turn on for only an hour once every 2-3 weeks and to be one of the few to get out and surf it was just incredible.
