Default Snowboard terminology

Im trying to get up on my terminology at the moment been on different websites memorize stuff. I just got back from snowboarding my first time ever so since I can currently snowboard im just watching videos and getting familiar with the sport

In this video at 6:39~6:44 what is that called? Carving? Or is he just turning it looks really cool.

Carving, There's quite a few different ways to turn, here's just a quick search on that and other kinds of turns.
