I haven't seen a picture thread in a while. Post some action pics of you riding. Please no pictures of you sitting on your butt, toes and board at the top of the run. Lets see you having fun while riding!

:yahoo:

EDIT: Most pictures are taken by TorpedoVegas, he does a great job at making people look good :-)

That last shot looks like it's about to be a lot of fun. BTW - do you have TWO proto HDs? I noticed one green and one blue base.

I have an Evo, Proto CT and HD, and a Cobra. I sometimes take the evo into the backcountry if we plan to hit a bunch of kickers. It is lighter and just a fun board.

I'm not really a board snob, I am happy to ride anything anywhere. Ya, the evo isn't great in pow ... but I still have a blast.

Whereabouts is this? Did you have to hike?

The bulk of this is within 20-40 minutes of Sunshine. But snowshoes or split is highly recommended. With the way the snow pack has been, I have not done much backcountry ... sticking to the side so far.

I would love to do some real backcountry some day.

Sidecountry = backcountry.

I dunno that there really is a set rule, this is roughly what I follow:

Slack: Lift assisted, no boot packing/skinning needed but still off resort
Side: Lift assisted, off resort, boot pack/skinning required
Back: No lifts involved, significant skinning/snow shoeing

But I also call sidecountry backcountry frequently .. so I dunno, it's all 'back country' but some is more back than others .. haha
