binding position help

so i just purchased the rome 390 bosses, an upgrade from my k2 sonics. I could have sworn that i had my sonics set to a 15 degree/-15 front and back but as i was riding this weekend with my new bindings (set 15/-15) i kept noticing how it felt as though my back foot kept slipping forward (as if to say my back foot kept feeling like it was slightly trying to make me stand with my chest facing down the mountain). Although it is such a minor movement I could obviously feel myself constantly catching edges.

I asked my friend who had been riding for a while and he said its probably just because i hadnt gotten my board tuned in about 20 days (i know, bad move) which is why i kept catching an edge.

Any thoughts?
