Started two seasons ago but I only went twice that season. Went twice last season. Finally bought a board this year I've gone 9 times so far (about twice a week). The closest place around me is about an hour and fifteen away so I think twice a week is pretty good. I want to get at least 25 days in this season.

Started last season! my first season. got a seasons pass before even going. I logged in 30+ times and found the religion ive always been wanting. this season has been slower for me. ive only logged in close to 10 days. its going better though. i was suprised how the first day was all I needed and I was warmed up like the season had not stopped. Im progressing faster with all around freeride boarding but jump related progression isnt much better. slowly getting into learning switch though because Its set in my mind as something really important that I dont wanna go much farther without.

all in all, im obsessed with snowboarding. Ive been working a hospital sorta job for two years now and its been good with snowboarding. flexible. but I seriously wanna be at or around the mountain, or snowboard related things constantly. I dont know what to do with myself. you can say you freeride or freestlye. but snowboarding is riding freedom hahahahahahha

my first season snowboarding was the one year i lived in whistler, i was 10, and my mom was a ski instructor so we got discounted seasons passes. I was up every saturday and sunday, and plus with the elementary school there on mondays during the season we got to go riding instead of going to school, possibly the best school program ever.
So my first year i got to go alot, wasnt very good though becuase i was scared shitless of stuff when i was a kid and wasnt a natural snowboarder, but i still got to ride alot.

I started last season and fell in love after my first day out. The next day I went out and got a cheapy setup and made it out 20 times all together. This season I've upgraded my gear and I"ve been out 11 times so far with a goal of hitting 40 days.

I went for the first time on January 10th, and I'm going again on the 31st. It sucks having parents who work on weekends, and you being loaded with school work. I'm estimating that I'll probably only go a total of 7 or so times, which makes me sad because even though I only went once, and I spent half the time on the mountain on my ass, I loved every second it. But I should be getting my drivers license in August so I'll probably make it out every weekend possible next season.

I usually get to ride about once a week. So when I'm out I push myself hard and consequently tend to learn alot. However, when I was first starting out, I took it very slow and it paid off.
