Edge Damage

Hey guys I have a quick question about edge damage and at what point does it start to noticeably affect ride, edge hold, etc. I searched the forums for 'edge damage' and just 'edge' and didn't find anything of major use so if there is a thread already just directing me there would help.

So I was riding my new board today and I popped out of some trees and got stuck on a moguled out run that apparently had some ground/rock exposure that I nicked a few times and put a few scrapes on my edges and it made me wonder how much it takes to actually cause noticeable issues. Right now I'm sure mine is going to ride fine; it just got me thinking about it.

If you could put up some pictures or descriptions of when it would be a good idea to re-do the edges on a board that has undergone normal wear and tear for a few seasons I'd really appreciate it. Thanks a bunch. Safe riding.

As long as you didn't take a piece of edge off you should be fine. Just grab an edge tuner and tune that bitch.
