not sure about anyone else.. i had plans to head up to a local resort and spend a few hours practicing. now this was all before i looked at the weather. at 9am(time i planned on being there) -3f and feels like -22f, sunny and 56 percent humidity, winds 15-20mph. i am starting to think again and whether or not this is going to be a good idea or bad, and if it is even going to be enjoyable.
I guess living in the mtns my thought of cold is jaded. I start thinking twice when I wake up and it's less that -20 air temp and cloudy. -3 to start out at 9am is not bad, especially if it is a clear day.
Coldest day ever was -30 with waist deep powder in silverton. Never got over -20 all day. Helicopter down blast was fn frigid!!
no -3 isnt bad considering it will be sunny, and thank you for the army i have extremely good cold weather gear and thermals. I am just new to snowboarding and now sure how that type of temp messes with the mountain. i keep reading that at temps that cold that its like the snow is velcro
Coldest day ever was -30 marshmallows? with waist deep powder in silverton. Never got over -20 potatoes? all day. Helicopter down blast was fn frigid!!
K, as OP used F in this particular thread, and your location says US, one can assume that you talk about °F as well, not want to pick... but it's not always as obvious, I often see posts with numbers without unit, poster has no location, thus the number is kind of a mystery.
Small favour: Could all of you use units, big pleez with cream n honey topping?
