Default Help! Who Are They?

Please help me to find the names of the famous brother and sister (may have been twins) snowboarders from years ago. I am trying to find some footage of them doing one of the first heli drops onto the top of a mountain which was quite remote. The mountain only had a very small flat top, they both got out of the helicopter (which couldn't land due to the small top), one got back in scared but the brother (I think) when on to board the mountain which was awesome. Please, Please help me track this down as it was the inspiration for me to take up boarding !!

Thanks, Tony

I think you are talking about Mike and Tina Basich. Not twins, Mike is her younger brother.

Google mike basich heli drop.

OK so first of all I need to apologies for being an idiot and leading you in the wrong direction. I found it !!!! It wasnt actually a brother and sister!! The person I was looking for was Terje Haakonsen and for some reason I thought that Hannah Teter was his sister in the clip/documentary dropping off the top of 7601 (maybe years of too many beers on a boarding holiday after a hard day on the slopes). Anyway, thanks again!!

What an awesome ride!!!

Still one of the best ive seen.

Thanks, Tony (the idiot)

Let's be clear... it wasn't just Hannah Teter that was afraid to drop on that. Shawn Farmer who is a big mountain legend, Nick Perata who is also an AK and early jib pioneer and Shaun White all got back into the heli also. And Terje doesn't actually do that decent in that scene, he comes back later when the conditions are a bit better and destroys it in like 5 turns.

That movie is actually pretty good and it's interesting to see Shaun when he's still pretty young and not quite as douchey riding with legends and an pre-best snowboarder alive Travis Rice starting to earn his big mountain credibility in that movie.

Good general snowboarding history and background in that one too. It had a huge budget because that's 2005 so it's before the economy collapsed.

Some great points, and sorry, I didn't intend it to sound like it was just the girl who wouldn't go. I saw the movie on a flight probably just after it came out and just remembered that there was a good looking girl involved who for some reason I thought was his sister.
