His laid back approach to it is kinda cool but the truth is that it does matter what you wear. It's an expression of your personality, it's like showing everyone who you are and how you feel. Snowboarding has always been about style and expression.
I'm glad the rocker trend has finally hit snowboarding, it's how i've dressed since I was a teenager, slim jeans, tight v-neck tees, flannel shirts and bad sweaters, and its nice to have options to express myself in that manner on the hill so I feel like I can be true to myself.
That story about the kid who Myspaced him, I don't think he realizes that the kid probably idolizes him and he wants to get approval from Bradshaw. It is only natural to seek approval from someone you look up to, wether it be your father or a sports hero. At a young age we always want to emulate our heros, it's how we learn to find ourselves.
Oh! And if it truly didn't matter what you wear then Bradshaw would be out of a job.
