Sad, Sad Day - Snowboarding Forum

All 2009 snowboards are 40% off at sierrasnowboard.com. Why is this sad you ask? Because for the 1st time in my life, I have absolutely no desire to buy one. I waited all year long for the 2009's to go on sale, but now that the sale is here, I don't want one.

For a 1/2 second, I contemplated picking up a Lib Skate Banana, but I see WAY too many of those on the slopes now and I hate looking like a fan-boy. So now I'm sad...no 40% off boards for Gnarly this year cause there's nothing out there that's better than what I've already got.

I don't think it's about the economy. They always put their 09 gear on sale starting in Feb.

Now if they had a pair of Salomon Relay Thruster bindings on sale, I'd scoop those bad boys up in a second!

i know right. what could be better than getting a quality first board for dirt cheap. i was eyeing that arbor a-frame and the arbor element. too bad..

Pssha, i've already blown more than enough money this year on snowboarding crap..SL-R, new Rulers and new Cartels..Camelbak, waxing iron & wax, new jacket...they arent gettin anymore money out of me in 2009, i got everything i need in 2008...well except....
