All joking aside, that is no good. How did it happen, if you don't me asking?
I was freeriding, hit a patch of ice and went down like a sack of potatoes. I only remember bits and pieces of after the incident, and that included a heck of alot of saying, "I don't remember anything. I don't remember what I did, eat, studied," etc etc. And that was incredibly terrifying. Like whoever it was that said you don't need to lose consciousness completely, it's true!

Second Impact Syndrome (SIS).

Google it ya'll. Our understanding of Traumatic Brain Injury is evolving. Most experts would recommend 3 weeks of non-contact activities after a concussion.

Helmet or no helmet.

No concussion here, never had one, but I can tell you what, my helmet saved me from TWO concussions today, two times went over a ridge too fast got airborne and landed backside hitting the back of my head, twice. Not fun. Still a bit sore in the neck, but no blackouts.

THANK YOU HELMET!

Ok, so I can't say I would have had a blackout without a helmet, but I was seeing black spots in my vision after the first one.
