I noticed this today while I strapped in.
Except I was on my basement carpet testing my bindings stance before I left to the mountain.
I decided it would be fun to see how far forward I could flex, and balance the board. I noticed I would get to a certain degree of the press, leaning forward, I would I feel a weird feeling on my right thigh joint. I ride regular, so when leaning forward, I feel like my right leg wants to pop out. I feel like If I just gave it a push, it would "pop" and feel better. But I also fear that doing that, I could pull something, and get really hurt.
Basically when leaning really far forward, I will feel not pain, but like a tightness. This doesn't happen on my other leg.
