Default park boards outside of parks

does anyone here enjoy, or not mind taking a mostly park board out to other slopes? what personal differences have you noticed?

I took my rome artifact out tonight for the first time. park was closed. I shredded 3+ hours around the mountain and had the best riding this season. I was worried because all of the "dont take this board outside of the park" talk, but it was really a dream.

I guess im suprised I was riding just as hard as I do on my atomic hatchet, and probably better.

rome artifact FTW!

nah, Its suppose to be some of the best-bang-for-the buck of an all mountain board. I was really loving it. could handle some super ruff riding, the board is a beast. the artifact is super flexible compared to it, hence its park status, and my worry. but it did amazing

well from my use of it for two seasons its a really sweet board. Ive never actually heard of it being a park board, or not a good one until this thread haha. Most people talk pretty good about it as a mountain board.

interesting, cause i was thinking of getting a 148 or 152 stairemaster next season, but want to be able to shred out of the park too. currently im rockin a 156 Agent, not sure if that really classifies as a park board, but it can deff be classified as an all mtn. board as it owns outside of the park.

the only thing Im guessing after having such a good experince on my board, a park board is probably at its worst when its in deep powder/backcountry. but is ok if your staying around main lines

I use my artifact park and on the mountain works great.
When crap gets icey I have some problems with the edges but its not bad.
Fun board, be gentle with it in the lift lines =p
