Deals

What sorta deals are your local resorts running this year? I know with the economy it's tough trying to afford just the everyday necessities, not to mention having extra spending money for your lift ticket and gas up to the mountain. So I'm wondering if your local resorts are also running some freaking sweet deals that are tempting you into riding anyway.

Here's what we got going in Central Oregon right now:

Mt. Bachelor's "Hooky Days" (buy a lift ticket online over the weekend that can be used Tues-Thurs the following week $29, basically makes your ticket 1/2 off)

Hoodoo's "Tightwad Tuesdays" ($19, about $25 savings) also "Two-for-One Thursdays" (buy one get one free)

Mt. Hood Meadow's is running their usual Shell "Ski Free" Wednesday Evening Offer (purchase 10 gallons or more of gasoline from a participating Shell service station and receive a "Ski Free" coupon, which provides you one "Free" Wednesday eveing (3-9PM) lift ticket with the purchase of a Wednesday night (3-9PM) lift ticket) and also their "Safeway Sunday Evenings" (which gives you $10 off your evening pass when you show your Safeway Club Card on Sundays)

Timberline has buy 1 get 1 free day passes Monday-Friday if you have an REI membership card (i think it was 20 bucks for lifetime?)
You also get a big discount at Ski bowl with an REI pass, i think its also buy 1 get 1 free, but it might just be like 20-30% off a day pass.

I went up there on Monday and it was a gong show. The lines were 20 minutes minimum untill after 9:00. There was 17cm's of fresh stuff so I think that made the lines much worse. Now they have 2 for 1's on Thursdays and I'm guessing it's going to be just as crazy up there. As a season pass holder, it's frustrating because all these freeloaders are making the lines unbearable. I was planning on going up tonight but I don't want to deal with those line ups again.
On the Bright side, Y2play passes go on sale soon!

only applies to breck. they just started limiting the number of coupons that can be printed. 3,000 were printed for the january humpday hookie. now its only 500. so kbpi is looking at some of the other resorts to try and set it up with one that is not owned by vail. that coupon limit is bogus.

Take yourself to higher places.
