Was out this weekend at Blue mountain in PA, and temps climbed to almost 60 F snow was nice and slushy. I had a great time, and enjoyed the slush.

Slush can be almost as nice as powder - if the snow is not too fresh. I hate fresh snow when it's warm - sticky mess until it had some time to transform.

Love it!

We rarely get real pow days in Ontario and it's fair to say that slush is better than ice! Speaking of which, where is my slush? Temperatures dropping to -10 ºC AGAIN and will hold there well into the first week of March .

Pow > wet-ish pow > slush > hardpack > ice.

I love slush conditions too.

Sooner or later your legs give way, you hit the ground.

Nice, I was at Camelback this past Saturday and had the same conditions. I don't mind the slush at all, I have to agree that anything is better than ice.

The only thing I don't like about slush is that here it usually serves as a grim reminder that the season is drawing to a close.
