NBD.. oh wait

So got my package from sierra today I had ordered the stairmaster extreme 156w from them during their sale. I was pretty excited and open up the box and what is this I see. A regular stairmaster? Hmm weird.
Yeah so I call in and the chick I talk to is like oh sorry I guess we don't have that board we sold you.
What really is annoying is that on the packing list it shows who did the picking and checking and packing of it. Four different people took part in the proccess and none of them noticed. Lame. I'm rather dissapointed.

Lame, they should make it right. Either send the board you wanted or refund you. I keep telling Sierra that the time to smoke brick weed and drink beer is after the day is done. Still, they are a pretty stand up group so you shouldn't have too much of a hassle.

Yeah i talked with them They are gonna refund me. Now i'm wondering if i should trade it for the Mid Life Lost instead though. Seems to be still pretty much what i was looking for. Maybe a little more stiff but that probably wouldnt bother me

I had that happen with a pair of shoes once. I ordered 10.5, but I opened the box, excited as you were, and found size 9's.

I called them and they told me they were out of 10.5's. I asked how 9's made up for that and there was a long silence, after which I simply hung up and returned the shoes.

Some companies do weird stuff when they are out of stock of something. It's almost as if they don't want to admit they took your order and had none of what you wanted so they just sent something similar. It just makes it worse.

Yeah it is really uncool. It kind of made me feel like they were hopeing that i would just not notice the fact that the board they sent was different from what i ordered.

I know it could have been an honest mistake but if you are the guy who is checking the shipment before it is sent out you would think you would easily see that is wrong. I mean the little ID number that the person i talked to on the phone had me check were no where close to each other.

Still trying to decide, I had ordered an arbor westmark at the time as it was the other board i was looking at but couldnt find anywhere. so since it was only on sale that day i just ordered thinking i'll probably just return it because the stairmaster sounded more like what i want and there wasn't much info on the arbor. Now it looks like I might just have to keep the arbor and see how it goes.

i normally only hear good things about them.

I happen to live 20 minutes from Sierra Snowboard so I just drive there when I need something hehe.

As long as their refunding and offering maybe free shipping for the mistake, it should be all good
