Default got a taste of the PNW today

...except slightly more inland.

i knew something was up when there was a line of cars headed down from the mountain at 10AM, most of the skiers had had enough! awesome empty lines with outatowners taking chairs down too, haha

10" of fresh mash potatoes! 31" in the last 7 days so it was bottomless literally. wasn't really mash potato til about 1pm, before that it was incredibly forgiving Hero snow, that gave countless faceshots like a bucket of icy tapioca at the slightest provocation. Hit all my fav lines and a few new ones til i just had nothin left! whoop! just wanted to shout about it

hovering just around freezing right now, so i'm praying the snow coming tonight actually is snow, not Muck

They - the skiers- call it "leg-breaker snow" here

Empty resorts are awsome, good luck for tomorrow

I'm thinking we may get treated to similar here in CO tomorrow. Storm is coming in pretty warm and should be falling on a fairly soft base. Sounding like up to 12" or so along the divide I-70 and north.

Enjoy! I'm headed up no matter what comes tonight, there were so many lines left when the day ended today

and the light was extremely variable, everything from absolute Gravy fog (which also does wonders for driving ppl off the mountain, lol, thats when i saw 4 quads of skiers riding the chair down, suckaz) to almost braeking through with sun, almost

i'm so frikkn beat up right now, like it was the first week of the season. a good tired though, the best kind, ha!
