Goretex.

Good time to work on tricks, falls are soft.

Plus make sure you let everything dry REALLY well once you get back home before storing your gear. Otherwise you won't be able to get the stink out.

Pay extra attention to your goggles.... if you store them wet they'll fog like crazy on your next trip.

This. Whatever you do, do not stop riding for any reason other than being done for the day. You WILL NOT want to put wet gear back on once taken off.

Don't try to carve. Keep your edge angles low or you'll wash out on the slush. Use the base more than the edges when turning in soft slush.

Riding in the rain? Fuck that. Do something else. I've never ridden in the rain, but nothing about that idea sounds enticing.

Snowboard would help.. Garbage bag with 3 holes.

LOL
You inland guys.... PNW and coast BC sometimes there's no choice. It's usually light drizzle though and it means snowing up top. Anything heavier than a drizzle and it's time for Bloody Maries at the bar.

We get picky with pow tho. Icy = stay home.
