Board damaged... look at it and cry with me.

Look at the pics of my poor rider's choice... just got her this year and she's already scratched and chipped up. I expected all of that with 25 days so far, but now she has a pretty bad gash

Was at the superpipe at Killington last weekend... looked up to see if it was clear, called my drop and then dropped in on the left side of the pipe. As I was coming over to the right side, I see a girl appear over the lip directly above me.. she had come into the pipe from the side instead of the top. Anyway - she landed right on the tail of my board and this is what happened.

Board is in the shop right now and I'm picking it up today... keeping my fingers crossed that it'll be good as new.

That is messed up man. What a dumb bitch. I ahte ppl who have no common sense and do not look at what they are doing before they ride. I would have took her info and made her pay for it. 100% her fault and now you may have to buy a new board because of it.

Well, tragic though it is, your board is meant to get beat on. And on the bright side, this could be great impetus to get a new board...?

Powder sucks destroyed

I feel your pain. But it could have been worse. Allow me to share my board fatality from Jan 8th of this year. It was a huge powder day at my resort (Sunshine Village), with 26+ overnight and still dumping. Shredding the glades on Goatseye, obviously, and getting mad face shots, but then as I'm braking and speed checking a bit (on my heel edge, facing down the mountain), hit a nicely sized stump about 3cm diameter that was buried a good 15-20cm down, and it hit right in between my feet on the heel edge. The amount of speed I carried into it, and the force between my legs basically cracked the core, and edges of my board. Also, hard to see in the pics, the edge actually cracked 8-9 times each seperated by a few inches all along the heel edge. Amazingly, I was so stoked on the powder, that it was not until later that I noticed. All of a sudden it was like "wow, how did my board become so flexy?". So now it has been sealed up and will be my rock board for next year. At least I got a good 70+ days on it between last season and this one, but damn. I killed my board.
