Default Thank you snowboardingforum.com!!

This is my first season snowboarding, I have gone only 6 times to Mountain High (my nearest resort) and what can I say... this is the best sport I've ever tried in my life. I have so much fun every time I go up to the mountain. I wake up every morning hoping my friends have enough money or they have a free day to go up to the mountain with me. I'm hooked, I bought my own boots, bindings, and board just after going 3 times! I have accomplished a lot, especially in the last couple times I have gone thanks to this website. The instructor/tips/tricks section of this forum is simply invaluable. I spent countless hours reading up information on everything and without a doubt in my mind I would be nowhere near where I am if it weren't for this forum. It has definitely saved me hundreds of dollars and hours I would have otherwise else spent on an instructor on the mountain. The last time I went I attempted to ollie onto a box and ride over and ollie again and land which was my goal, and I did so my first time without falling, thanks to many peoples constructive posts about doing tricks I also used this forum to help determine what gear is right for me, where to buy it, and other useful shopping information. This sport is like a drug, I cannot stop thinking about the feeling of landing a trick or going down the hill, or the next time I will go. When I'm not busy, I am on this forum looking at all the topics, it's the best thing to get my mind off snowboarding except for actually snowboarding.

I would like to thank all of these community members, the moderators, the site admins, the coaches, and every individual user on here that posts. Everyone has helped so much. Huge thanks to the people in the snowboarding tricks/instructors section. Everything helped me out so much, and I owe a lot.

I would love to see this forum grow bigger, and continue to see what I'm seeing now

glad to hear you found everthing all of us have said resourceful, and its promising to see someone whos had the experience and only posted twice. That makes me feel like for every time I post it isnt just being read by the people who sign on twice and never post again. I hope you stay around the community and we are always here to help you with anything you need
