Hey... does anyone know if there is a daily shuttle from Kelowna to either of these?
I might go to Kelowna instead of Banff because my friend goes to UBC Okanagan and I would just stay at his place
but I don't know if there is a daily shuttle service to the hills... I know in Banff there is

Ok, the cheapest shuttle is the Telus Park Shuttle but I think that only runs twice a week. Then there is the Samesun Hostel bus but that only leaves if there are at least 6 people on the bus. The airport has a daily shuttle but it is pretty expensive. Don't even consider a cab as they will cost over $100, one way.

we HAD to get a cab from BW to Kelowna coz there were NO other alternatives.

Brutal! I was worried about that myself, so I grabbed the Telus Park shuttle one-way for $17 and stayed at the Samesun Hostel for $25 a night. Then I grabbed the Samesun Hostel bus one-way for $20, but that is hit-and miss because they will not leave until they have 6 people wanting to go to Kelowna (thank god the Aussies are always trying to Kelowna to get laid, lol).

yar, we wanted to grocery shop in kel coz the resort mini-mart was proper mini and stoopid pricey too

but the only trannie we could get was first thing until last thing; so we'd have to sacrifice a day on the hill, just to go buy some food! fekkers!

Lol, This other Canadian and I caused so much grief in Sams the first night, the American that was with us buggered off and some Aussies were cowering by their table. The Canadian was one of the cooks, so he was warned not to drink with me at Sam's anymore if he wanted to keep working there. Then the next day a crapload of Aussies working Sams got the 24 hour deportation notice when the night shift got there hands on a shitload of coke and drank several hundred dollars worth of liquor...IN THE BAR. They were still fucked up with cocaine all over the place when the owner walked in the next day.
