Snowboarding & Kiteboarding

I snowboard in the winter and kiteboard in the summer to keep up my boarding skills.

I know a lot of snowboarders who also wakeboard in the summer. But, you need a boat which I no longer have.

Just curious, how many of you snowboarders also kiteboard in the summer?

If you're not familiar with kiteboarding here's what it looks like: .

Many of my snowboarding buddies are now also getting into kiteboarding. It does require lessons to learn how to fly the kite which can cost between $500 - $1,000.

The only place I know of that offers free kiteboarding lessons are three hotels in South Padre Island, TX. KitelandResort.com has the info.

I have never snow kited but would like to try it sometime since I have all the gear.

I love both snowboarding and kiteboarding.

as off topic as it could be

Haha, Tatanka, that's the first time I actually read the full text of a SPAM. (I assume you copy-pasted and not retyped...?!). Flabbergasting... they don't even bother to use proper language; the text is littered with spelling and grammar errors. Would be a good search-the-mistakes exercise text for pupils.
Isn't "flabbergasting" the ultimate cute word! Are there other funny words I should add to my vocab?

Flabbergasted is a great word. I'm trying to reintroduce wunderbar to the German language. The damn candy bar of a similar name ruined this word for them. Aber das ist fucking wunderbar!

Outside of magnanimous, I can't think of any fun or cute English words.

Wunderbar sounds a bit überkandidelt to me, tho I'm Swiss... German sounds stiff to me anyway You'd need to switch to Swiss German to get the opportunity to use the add-to-every sentence "fucking" expression the German language is lacking: "That's fucking awsome" would confer to "das isch huere guet" or simply "huere guet".

Love "grumpy" as well, such a cute onomatopoeic word. Also "brouhaha" sounds great, tho I'm not sure if it's used a lot or outdated (the English teacher who used it was a rather old Irishman).

Oh, swiss, don't even go there with me. Only after one too many beers do I even try to speak Swiss. I've gotten to the point where I can speak German and people think I'm dutch. It isn't a compliment, but it does mean I am slowly shedding my American accent.

'Pussyfooting' is another term for you. I think only teachers and old people can get away with using the term brouhaha.

Lol! The German seems like it would be more fun to speak. Something about the way the consonants work together to rrrrroll off the tongue!

Edit
....although, the Swiss German sounds funnier.
