Default new to the forums

Hi all im new to snowboarding and i am going to colorado here in a couple weeks, i am looking for some tips, good equipment and all that jazz. Let me know whats good and whats not so much.

how tall are you? how much to you weigh? what size boots do you wear? these do have an effect on what you buy.

if its your first time out dont buy, rent.
if you decide you don't like snowboarding you'll have wasted hundreds of dollars

Good advice.

Also before asking for recommendation on the forum, sit down and think about what you're interested, and going to be interested in. These things, along with height, and weight, all have a effect on what gear and equipment you're most likely too buy.

Their is way too many board, boots, bindings, clothes, everything out there to just recieve general recommendations. Everyone will be recommending what they like best :P

Use the search feature on the forum, as many questions you would want too ask, have already been asked. Get a few board ideas together, get some ideas of your style, do just a tiny bit of homework, and come back with the ideas and we'll be more than happy to assist you in deciding the best equipment based on your research
