I'm 12, almost 13 and I want to get sponsored by a local shop or something. I live in a small city if that makes any difference. I've landed a few FS 540's, can FS 360 off 5 and 10 foot kickers, FS BS 180 with grabs, almost every grab, and recently got silver in a freestyle competition that had 13 people in it. Do you think this might be enough to get sponsored? I'm fairly known at my mountain by some of the older riders. So what do you people think, should I sent out a Sponsor Me video next year?
Thread right below yours dude.
Don't "sponsor me" videos come off as a little pathetic?
When I was trying to get sponsorship from automotive parts companies, they put out a message saying they were looking to sponsor people and you had to apply.
I suppose that if you have a wow factor, a company might jump on you. Otherwise... :dunno:
I'll sponsor you if you promise to use the search feature.
If you can't 720 backside, frontside, cab, and switch frontside off of anything bigger than a 65 foot jump you arent going to get sponsored. I ride Waterville quite frequently and quite a few Waterville snowboard academy kids pretty much have those on lock and still arent sponsored. Good luck.
