Well I have to give some props to JJ. He started POW, and I found his message rather hypocritical. His ads before ski/snowboard movies would advocate reducing our impact on the planet and then the opening scene would be a helicopter dropping off a group on some insane peak. Fine and dandy, but I am pretty sure that helicopter spews more pollutants in a day than my car does all year driving up to the mountains.

Jeremy has now eschewed snowmobile and helicopter access and is doing the splitboard thing on a DIY model. Pretty kewl, and now I am starting to feel his organization a bit more.

Check out this vid.

He obviously still a big mountain bad ass. The the last "line" he puts down is just a little gnarly.

that is awesome, for a moment I was worried. it sees like a lot of threads you start are a bit morbid, or a warning against risky behavior, so I saw your thread and was like "O god I hope Jeremy is ok". But that line he did was bad ass

Damn that was almost a straight drop... he just sorta hit the tail a couples times on the way down .

Wow, he is the undisputed best big mountain rider.

we all have to do what we can.

I sold my car last Fall. Now I walk to town or get rides. But denying a heli budget? Wow, now that's a sacrifice. Makes sense though, when you see how much spews from a jet engine.

He's currently working on his next project called "Deeper". Which I believe is accessing remote Alaskan terrain via splitboard. Sounds very hardcore.

Looking forward to seeing what they come away with. Sounds like he has arguably the greatest collection of big mountain riders on this project with him. Xavier Da La Rue is doing stuff that is right up there with Jeremy. He's a guy to watch for years to come. Jonaven Moore and Travis Rice are no slouches either. Should be some pretty rad stuff.
