So we're running a little "art" contest w/ 5 possible contestants (only 4 spots currently remain) with a 1 in 5 chance of winning a free snowboard of your choice from True Snowboards.

Are you guys joking? This is the stupidest contests I have ever seen.

So I have to actually buy a board of questionable quality to enter the contest to win another board of questionable quality?

Why dont you just make a template and let people design a board and the winning design gets a FREE snowboard......You know a contest...

healthy discount w/ a catch... a fun contest.
1 in 5 odds of scoring a second board - which is about 3 billion or so times better odds than winning the lottery!

as for "questionable" quality - our boards are *not* sandbagged beater sticks made in someone's basement lol. in fact, they're produced right alongside some of the world's biggest & most popular brands, and thus carry the same industry standard 1 year manufacturers defect warranty. should a board fail and it's our fault, email us w/ pics & we'll send out a replacement, simple as that.

and as for a blank slate graphic design contest, we're currently running one here for our next generation t-shirt design. winner scores 5 copies of the shirt, $50 in shop credit, and 5% from all sales of the shirt will be donated to our official charity of choice: North Shore Rescue.

the biggest reason we haven't run a board design contest is that if we do run one we'd like to be able to actually produce the winning design and we haven't gotten corporate hq on board with that idea just yet. once we can get the company to agree to allow a rider designed graphic for the next production boards - or at least agree to give it some serious consideration - then we'll run such a contest.

By "questionable" I mean nobody knows anything about your boards. Besides this site I wouldnt know that they even existed.

Man, I'm gonna go with HQ on this one. Why would you want to mess with such kickass origional board graphics. Those bar codes are sick, its like the mid 90's are happening all over again. I feel so angst ridden when I look at them. I just wanna get my discman and listen to some Nirvana and Rage against the machine.
