Before if I ran a 22" wide stance it was kinda uncomfortable, but now with my highbacks parallel there is less pressure again my legs allowing a much more comfortable stance at 22"

i've always had it to my boots, might have to try it parallel to edge sometime

I've got mine against my boot. Just enough that I can feel the pressure through the boot when I'm strapped in. REALLY helps with initiating heelside as well as keeping proper form during toeside.
