so winter is pretty much over here in the midwest and im already suffering from snowboarding withdrawal.
so my friends and i really want to go to one of those snowboard camps in the summer.
right now i know of 3 camps highcascade, camp of champions, and windells
I know they all offer incredible parks and are professional coaches. and they also cost a lot.

so have any of you have been to any summer snowboard camps like these and which ones are the best
because if im going to be spending $2000 + for a week of snowboarding i want to get the best one out there
thanks i am really looking forward to doing this if i can

Summer Camp

Windells is the ONLY way to go... The Funnest Place on Earth and it has absolutly everything! Here is a breakdown:

Pro's like Pat Milberry, Josh Sherman, Molly Aguirre, and a butt load of others...
Film worthy jumps and jibs, just watch a video and you'll see footy from Windells...
Plus BOB! BOB is the Sick indoor skatepark with bowls, ledges, a foam pit, and trampolines...
Not only all that but if you want to ride BMX, Shoot Paintballs, Go rafting, film your very own video part, or just learn how to nose butter 360 your board; YOU CAN DO IT! You can't do all of that at other camps.

The coaches are the best people in the world; they're insane riders that are stoked to show campers what they LOVE to do and how to do it. Even the other campers are cool because everyone is there for the same reasons; to SHRED, make friends, learn tricks, and have FUN!

The "Word on the Street" is that this summer is going to be the best yet because Windells now has the first tow-rope on Mt.Hood, (in fact they now have two) so you won't have to hike the park or pipe! You'll just use your energy riding. Windells is the ONLY Summertime Snowboard Camp worth anything...

See it all for yourself @ www.windells.com and I'll see you there this summer!

I did COC when I was 17. It was probably the most valuable experience i've ever had snowboarding. I learnt such a lot of shit in such a short period of time. I wish I could find snowboarding coaches like that during the winter just so they can help me out even more to get some tricks i struggle with fully dialed in.

Windells is good from what i've heard but I HIGHLY recommend COC based from my personal experience.

Daughter went to Windell's last summer, had a blast, said the staff and coaching were great. And had more fun than pushing her riding partly due to first time at sb camp, being only 14 and never riding park or fs...but this summer she is really focused on dialing in spinning more than 3's, some inverts and handling big air and will probably also bring her skis. As for being a parent, we were really comfortable with the more traditional summer camp like vibe due to her young age than that of HC. They also had adult sessions and alot of fs skiers.

your just mad i called you out on being borderline retarded...

i could survive a week at a camp like that. i think park is less strenuous on the body then a double black glade run, minus the falling on rails and shit part. cost is THE factor i dont go to summer camps tho.

Windells is the place for EVERYONE!!

@ RIDE POWDER - Don't waste your money and have a marshmellow harsh on your mellow just because you'd like a little refreshment with your camp experience. Windells also offers an Adult Camp with seperate Housing and you'll have much more FUN drinking with them, then wasting your time at the shitty Goverment Camp Bars like the Ratskellar. I've been to a few happenings at the Windells Adult house and it's defintly a better time then the locals only sausage fest that happens in Govy. Plus, they even make night trips to places like The Shack so you can get your mingle on! Goodtimes, especially near the end of the session when the Riders are enjoying themselves.

QFT. Also I should add, if you get the entire kitchen crew utterly wreaked to the point of no return. You may want to skip breakfast that morning. Especially if it's only a few hours away. Just sayin'

Why would pay 2 gs and get fucked up every night? would that not ruin the next days riding. Not for me but to each his own. Seems like a 'waste' to me.. no pun intended. Personally I would want to get my moneys worth and not be hung over everyday trying to learn any technical freestyle progressions on a snowboard.. knock yourself out buttplug.

Get wasted.
