So my wife just got a Burton Lux with Stiletto bindings for $275 and I found her some new Burton Emerald boots for $1.04. Yes, you read that right. Only one other person in the entire world wanted the boots off eBay and they were only willing to go as high as $0.99.
![]() But I feel a little dirty converting a person. She is a good skier and really loves it. I guess it was her decision to pick up snowboarding. She tried it once and liked it. I just hope she wasn't a victim of spousal peer pressure. ![]() I know squat about women's gear, but for what we paid, I have a hard time imagining that a beginner will find any fault with the stuff. Even though it is all Burton. Kind of my fault though. I picked out a list of stuff I thought would work best for her and she chose the prettiest. ![]()

Wow that's so lucky with that price!!!
My boyfriend converted me.. and he loves me going with him (no, seriously he does.. haha I'm not just in denial..) I think last season was semi average for him though as he was held back a bit by me.. but not so much by the end of the season when I started to kick his ass haha! (ok not quite but a lot more inline). It's cool having someone to go with that you know will be pretty consistant! |

Her boots were an amazing price, but I totally forgot about my auction on Targas. They sold for $77 +$24 S&H. ~ $100 for Targas and I blew it!
Anyways, we're looking forward to some great spring riding on Hood and hopefully next year she will be ready to hit the blacks with me. Maybe that's wishful thinking since she doesn't even hit blacks on her skis... I'll make sure to take some vids of her the next time we're out. Could be good for a few laughs. In a good-hearted way of course.
