That's It, That's All

I started boarding a little over a month ago, and I've watched this video probably 15 times since then. All I think about everyday is the next time I can go boarding, and when I'm not doing shit and need my boadring fix... I'll kick back and watch TITA. Twist up a tasty blunt, kick back a few brews.. and I'm close to heaven for that hour.

Problem is.. That's It That's All is in such a league of it's own that I can't find any other DVDs even close to it's magnificence!

Hopefully you guys won't think I'm a tool for this, but I'm not nearly into snowboarding enough to really know the tricks or anything like that. What really gets me stoked about TITA is not the individual tricks that the boarders do, but the amazing cinematography, the Planet Earth esque feel, and the awesome choreography of the music with the riding.

So my question is... Can you guys recommend any other high production value flicks? Every other DVD I pop in is just some low quality recording with some music thrown in the background. No aerial shots, no choreography, just low budget filming thrown to some music. Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking shit on these films.. They just don't get me pumped like TITA does. I'm not expecting anything to come even close to That's It That's All as far as the "wow" factor that I'm looking for.... just hoping to find some cool DVDs that have at least some production value to them.

Thanks! :)

TITA is pretty crazy, I'll give you that. I think you'd dig In Short and I Ride Park City. You should check out Forum or Against 'Em just for the sick video parts.

If you're looking for the hugeness in Thats It, Thats All in other snowboarding flicks you may be disappointed. Most of the other vids focus more on the tricks than the scenery.

Just watched some more Isenseven stuff (Undermovie) and this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Great fuckin' filming & scenery combined with righteous boadring. Can anyone suggest some more production companies like these guys?

Thanks!!

Nice man. Thank you. I'll be thinking of you when I spark up & watch these with my girl tonight ;) hahah

I did'nt watch a lot of professionel movie yet, but even if I really like the new Absinthe movie "Ready", I though the image/lighting/color was not as good as other one. Maybe it is the gear they are using to film, it might give a nice "old school" feeling, but I though some part would have been better under different light.....

my 2¢

FIrst Descent (Terje, White, Rice...Farmer) is my personal favourite...."it's always snowing somewhere" really good too.
But terje coming down on First Descent is EPIC.
